Haddonfield, NJ — Haddonfield Memorial High School is proud to announce that seven members of the Boys Cross Country team have earned the prestigious opportunity to compete in the Nike Cross Country Nationals, taking place on Saturday, December 6, in Portland, Oregon, under the Haddonfield Baker Track Club. This is the first time a boys' cross-country team from South Jersey has qualified for this prestigious meet!
Representing Haddonfield and the state of New Jersey on the national stage will be:
- Ben Andrus
- Luke Andresen
- Ryan Gibson
- Peter Simpson
- Brandon Stoner
- Michael Sinnes
- AJ Blum
This invitation-only championship showcases the top high school runners in the country. Qualifying for Nike Cross Nationals is considered one of the highest honors in scholastic distance running, highlighting not only speed and endurance but also consistency, discipline, and teamwork.
Haddonfield has a tradition of excellence in cross country, and this year’s group continues that legacy by competing among the best teams and individuals nationwide. The Haddonfield Memorial High School Boys Cross Country Team has a record-setting 23 State titles, including the last 8 in a row.
The community, families, and coaching staff are incredibly proud of the dedication and hard work these athletes have demonstrated throughout the season.
