HMHS is pleased to announce Justin Singleton as our new Head Baseball Coach. Justin graduated from St. Paul’s School for Boys in Brooklandville, MD in 1997. Coach Singleton was drafted in the 9th round of the 1997 amateur draft by the Arizona Diamondbacks, but instead accepted a scholarship to play baseball at Clemson University. While at Clemson, Coach Singleton was a 3-year Letterman, Team Captain, College World Series participant; Honor Roll (3 years), Atlantic Coast Conference Academic Honor Roll (3 years), Highest Cumulative GPA in Baseball Program, Dean’s List, and an Honorable Mention/Freshman All-American. Following his junior year, he signed with the Toronto Blue Jays and played 6 seasons in their minor league system before ending his professional career with the AAA Syracuse Sky Chiefs where was he recognized with the Toronto Blue Jays Harold Berman Community Involvement Service Award.
Coach Singleton resides in Haddonfield with his wife Tricia, who is also an HMHS coach (girl’s soccer), and their three children.
