Marielle Hall Inducted into the South Jersey Track and Field Hall of Fame

Haddonfield, NJ – March 31, 2025 – Haddonfield Memorial High School is proud to announce that the South Jersey Track Coaches Association inducted Marielle Hall into their Hall of Fame as part of its esteemed Class of 2025. This honor recognizes Hall's exceptional achievements and contributions to the sport of track and field.

 

Marielle Hall's journey in athletics began at Haddonfield Memorial High School in New Jersey, where she showcased her talent in middle-distance events. Her dedication and performance earned her a place at the University of Texas at Austin. During her collegiate career, Hall secured four Big 12 Conference titles and clinched the 5,000 meters title at the 2014 NCAA Outdoor Championships. Her remarkable time of 15:19.26 at the Stanford Invitational that year not only set a school record but also positioned her among the top collegiate performers in the event. ​

 

Transitioning to professional athletics in 2014, Hall signed with Nike and continued to excel on the international stage. She represented the United States in the 5,000 meters at the 2015 World Championships in Beijing and competed in the 10,000 meters at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. In 2018, Hall secured a gold medal in the 10,000 meters at the NACAC Championships in Toronto. ​

 

The induction ceremony was on Sunday, March 30, 2025, at Lucien's Manor in Berlin, NJ. Included alongside fellow inductees Nia Ali, Tiffany Bates, Chris Callinan, Jonathan Dickey, Paul Friedman, English Gardner, Gary Jankowski, Jim Mohan, and the Haddon Township 4xMile Relay team.

 

Marielle Hall's induction into the South Jersey Track and Field Hall of Fame celebrates her outstanding career and serves as an inspiration to aspiring athletes in our school community.
