Kimberly LaMaina (1994) - Hall of Fame Class of 2011
Kimberly LaMaina earned 4 varsity letters in tennis at HMHS. She was a dominating force on Hall of Fame coach Jeff Holman’s 1990 – 93 teams. She had 36-2 record her freshman year which earned her All Conference and All South Jersey honors. She repeated those honors the next three seasons. In Kim’s junior year she was selected the 1992 Player of the Year by the Philadelphia Inquirer, the Courier Post, and the South Jersey Tennis Coaches Association. She was undefeated versus South Jersey opponents her sophomore and junior years. She also won the South Jersey Interscholastic singles championships during the same two years.
Ms. LaMaina graduated from the University of Maryland in 1998. She earned her law degree and is a practicing attorney. Kim is married to Lefteris Banos and resides in Haddonfield.
