Colin Coffey (1979) - hall of Fame Class of 2011

Colin Coffey earned four varsity letters during his tenure at HMHS, three in Wrestling and one in Cross Country.  He was selected second team All Colonial Conference in Cross Country and was member of the 1978 State Championship team.  It was wrestling where Colin showed his meddle.  He was the team captain in 1979.  He was the champion in his weight class in the Holiday Tournament in 1978 and 1979.  He was undefeated in dual matches in 1979 and selected 1^st team All Colonial Conference.   He was district champion his junior and senior years and placed 3^rd his sophomore year.  In 1979 he placed third in the regionals and was voted honorable mention All South Jersey in ‘78 and ’79. 

He earned two varsity letters in wrestling and one in cross country at Rider College.  He was voted the wrestling team captain in 1984.  He earned all conference honors and was the Eastern Conference champion.  He reached the quarter finals in the NCAA Division I tournament.
