Coach Bickel is entering his 19th year as head coach of Haddonfield Baseball.  A graduate and player for West Chester University in West Chester, Pennsylvania he hopes to instill the same love of the game his coaches impressed upon him.  Coach Bickel is teacher at Haddonfied Middle School and has previously been on the Haddonfield Football and Haddonfield Middle School Basketball coaching staff.  He is a National Federation of State HS Association Accredited Interscholastic Coach, the conference representative for the South Jersey Baseball Association and was a member of the NJSIAA State Baseball Committee.  While Coach Bickel has seen success for his teams on the baseball diamond, he accredits these successes to the great players he has had, their commitment to the sport and the great coaches who have worked for him.  

Coach Bickel and his wife Julie have 3 daughters, Caroline, Madeline, and Brynn, and a chocolate lab, Harper.  They enjoy vacationing in Sea Isle City over the summer, attending his daughter's field hockey games and supporting all HMHS teams.
