The South Jersey Interscholastic Championships will begin at Vineland and Millville High Schools on Saturday, May 18. On the attached draw sheets, “Vine” indicates a match scheduled at Vineland, “Mill” a match scheduled at Millville. All matches on Sunday will be at Vineland, while the semifinal and final rounds will be played at Haddonfield’s courts on Saturday, May 25, with May 26 as the rain date. Each singles player or doubles team must bring one can of new balls (winners take new balls to the next round).
There will be no coaching on the first day, when two sites will be used. Also, because of the large number of matches scheduled on the first day, match tiebreakers instead of full third sets will be used in all of the day’s matches. Any weather-related changes in the tournament’s schedule will be posted at this site.
