Coach Andrew started rowing late in his collegiate career at LaSalle University. In his first season he was coxswain to Men’s Novice/Frosh 8+, placing in the Murphy Cup and Frostbite Regatta in the fall of 2010 and then in the Spring of 2011 making the semifinals in the Dad Vail Regatta in the Men’s Frosh/Novice 8. In his second and third seasons 2011-12 he was at the helm of Men’s Novice 4+ and then Men’s JV4+, placing 1st in the Head of the Schuylkill Regatta. After his collegiate career, rowing was still ever present in the heart and mind as he became a booster and fan with fellow alum and teammates every year at the Dad Vail Regatta on the Schuylkill River. 

Andrew became involved in rowing again when he volunteered to help as an assistant coach for Haddonfield Girls Novice Crew team in the spring of 2024. The girls novice 4+ had a very successful spring season, medaling in most events including Garden States and City Championship. 

Coming back to the sport this time as a coach was as unexpected as it was to join the team as coxswain back at LaSalle, however has been truly a rewarding experience and been incredible to rediscover the love for the sport, helping to build a successful team and fostering that team comradery that was so important to his own memories and passion of the sport. 

Off the river, Andrew holds a Bachelor's degree in History and Secondary Education from LaSalle University and is a high school History teacher in Cherry Hill, NJ. Outside of the passion and dedication he holds for rowing he is an avid golfing hobbyist.

Annabella Lee is a lifelong rower and passionate coach dedicated to developing the next generation of athletes. A 2021 graduate of Haddonfield Memorial High School, Annabella was a three-year varsity crew member, earning the title of Most Improved Rower in 2019. She competed at the prestigious Head Of The Charles in both her sophomore and junior years and served as team captain during her senior season.

Continuing her rowing career at Drexel University, Annabella found success on the water, winning gold in the freshman category at both the Dad Vail Regatta and the Murphy Cup. Earning a Dad Vail championship title was an incredible honor and a highlight of her competitive rowing career.

Her coaching journey began early, assisting with Learn to Row programs for the past seven years. Now, she is thrilled to take on the role of head coach for the newly established Haddonfield Middle School crew team. With a deep connection to the program that shaped her, Annabella is eager to build a strong foundation for young rowers, fostering both skill development and a love for the sport.

Currently a senior at Rowan University, Annabella is set to graduate with a major in Elementary Education and a minor in ESL. She hopes to pursue a career in teaching kindergarten while continuing to coach. With rowing having been a part of her life since the age of 12, her ultimate goal has always been to return to Haddonfield and give back to the community that first ignited her passion for the sport.
