Haddonfield School District Athletics desires to provide all students with every opportunity to develop to their maximum potential; at the same time, it is sometimes necessary for athletic teams to trim rosters to the best interest of the team and the individual to maximize instructional time, proper training methodologies, field availability, and safe supervision based on coach/athlete ratios.

Based on the number of students registered for the upcoming HMHS Boys basketball season we anticipate making roster reductions.

1. Practices/Try-outs start on November 20, 2023.  

2. The try-out period will be November 20 - 22.

3. Athletes who miss tryouts can be cut at the coach’s discretion.

4. The coach will inform an athlete who is cut from a team in person.

5. Students who do not make the team are encouraged to join the HMHS intramural basketball program which start in January.
