Penn Relays

Updated on 06/10/2022
This Thursday marks the 123rd Penn Relay Carnival!
The coaches and I will be taking the athletes who will be competing (as well as an alternate in each event) over to Penn - this is an excused trip for an athletic event (all included are aware that they should communicate their absences to their teachers and plan to make up any missed work.)!
We are trying something new this year - traveling by train!  We anticipate that this trip will be MUCH faster to and from Penn - especially with the draft also scheduled on this Thursday.  We are asking that the athletes meet at the PATCO station in Haddonfield around 7:00 - so that we can begin our trip around 7:15.  The trip will involve a walk through the city, but we believe this will be faster than having to make a transfer with a large group.  The school will pay for each athletes transportation, so they only need money to pay for food and souvenirs at Penn.

This year we are excited to have qualified in 3 relay events.
Our events
Small Schools 4 x 800   EVENT 103   Start time:  10:30
Kaitlyn Bonnet, Lilly Minor, Alexa Gostovich,  Izzy Miller, Lauren Lynch

Small schools 4 x 100 EVENT 107  Start time 11:10    (There are many MANY heats of this event.  We are team FG - they start with team AA, AB, etc... lining up 8 (I believe) teams at a time.
Gianna Cucinotta,  Julia Parker,  Cassidy Cao, Kelly Camperson,  Dahlia DeVivo

South Jersey Small Schools 4 x 400   Start time: 5:05
Gianna Cucinotta,  Lizzy Mulvenna, Kaitlyn Bonnet, Lilly Minor,  Jenny Scott

Obviously this is a long day - we hope to return to the PATCO station between 7 and 8.  If you'd like to pick up an athlete from Penn, you can do so if you email Mr. Russo in advance.  Athletes CANNOT travel back to Haddonfield on their own.

Unfortunately, we do not have additional tickets this year.  They can be purchased by heading to the following site:

I would recommend purchasing the General admission tickets.
Please do not hesitate to email me if you have any questions.  We're looking forward to a beautiful day and some fast performances!!!

As always, thanks for your support

Jason Russo
