Wednesday 10/16 - Practice from 3:00pm until 4:30pm at HADDONFIELD MIDDLE SCHOOL. We are assisting with the 6th Grade Field Hockey program. Black/white reversible jersey if your daughter has one, please! 

Thursday 10/17 - RED team only away game vs. Sterling at 4:00pm. Bus will depart from the Middle School (at the flagpole) at 3:00pm. Red/Black jerseys and plain black shinguards. If you are taking your daughter home from the game - a note must be handed in PRIOR to departure. The Black team is off. 

Friday 10/18 - Away games vs. Christ the King at 3:45pm (RED team) and 4:45pm (BLACK team.) Red/Black jerseys and plain black shinguards. Players on both teams will be meeting immediately after school at the Middle School (at the flagpole) and walking together to Christ the King School.

*Note that this is the final RED team game - FULL uniforms must be returned by 10/21 

The TIME for the Black team game today has been changed to 4:30pm. The game will be played at the Haddon Heights High School field. Black/red jerseys and plain black shinguards. The bus will be leaving from the Middle School at 4:00pm (meet at the flagpole.) 

If you plan to take your daughter home directly from the game - please provide a note PRIOR to departure.

There will be an opportunity for Red players to participate in Black team games on a week to week basis. 

Monday 9/9 - Practice from 3:15pm until 4:45pm at Elizabeth Haddon Elementary School 

Tuesday 9/10 - Practice from 3:15pm until 4:45pm at Elizabeth Haddon Elementary School. Uniforms will be distributed. If you did not return your previous uniform - a new one will NOT be provided. 

Wednesday 9/11 - BLACK and RED Teams will have a game vs. West Deptford. These are AWAY games. Red/black jersey and plain black shinguards. The first game is 4:00pm followed by the second at 5:15pm. Players must be ready to board the bus at 3:00pm at the Middle School. 

A new rule went into effect this year that has impacted the Middle School field hockey program. In order to be eligible to play in games - the player MUST have participated in 6 practices. If your daughter missed any practices - she is unable to play in this game. 

Thursday 9/12 - Practice from 3:15pm until 4:45pm at Elizabeth Haddon Elementary School 

Friday 9/13 - RED TEAM ONLY will have a game vs. Sterling at 4:00pm. This is a HOME game (Elizabeth Haddon Elementary School.) White jersey and plain white shinguards. Players must arrive at 3:15pm for warm-ups. BLACK TEAM HAS OFF.

With games beginning next week (September 11) and team assignments being created - Middle School field hockey registration has closed. 

Unfortunately, a 6th grade coach has not been found, therefore the following information is for 7th and 8th grade players only. 

I am still waiting for the Haddonfield Athletic Department to sort out the field hockey equipment, but I do not want to postpone practice until then. Please send your daughter with a field hockey ball - I will have Sharpies so that her name can be placed on the ball. They can be purchased at Dick's Sporting Goods or Hersport. She will also need black and white shinguard socks, shinguards, a mouthpiece, and goggles. 

Practice will begin on Wednesday, September 4th and continue on Thursday (9/5) and Friday (9/6) from 3:15pm until 4:45pm at Elizabeth Haddon Elementary School. A port-a-potty is available at the field, but there is no access to the school. Players will need to change, fill water bottles, etc. before arriving.

With only a couple of weeks left until the Fall 2019 season begins - please have all players FULLY registered. Players cannot participate in any practices or games without having all of the necessary paperwork completed and reviewed by school personnel. Questions regarding medical sports forms should be addressed to the School Nurse, Mrs. Barranger ( mbarranger@haddonfield.k12.nj.us ) The first practice of the season will be WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 4TH starting at 3:15 until 4:45pm. Practices AND Home games will be held at Elizabeth Haddon Elementary School. On September 10, 2019 team uniforms will be distributed. If last year’s uniform was not returned – a new uniform will not be issued.  Practice time and location will continue throughout the season with the exception of the following dates: September 30, 2019 - No practice (Rosh Hashanah) and October 9, 2019 - No practice (Yom Kippur.)

Similar to last season, the game schedule will be divided among the BLACK and the RED teams. Team assignments will be provided to the players on September 10th when they receive their uniform. This will help to ensure that players will receive as much playing time as possible, as well as, make sure that players will play in the safest game environment. At this time, an additional coach has not been secured, so when one team has a game - the other team will have the day off. Bus Transportation: If you are planning on picking up your athlete from an away game, please have a written permission note with your signature and date. This permission slip needs to be handed in BEFORE we leave HMS for the game. We will leave promptly at 3:00pm from the Middle School for away games. Absent from game or practice: If you are absent from practice the day before a game - you will not be able to play in that game. Make sure that you bring your stick, goggles, shinguards (black for home games and white for away games), cleats, mouthguard, and water to every game and practice! Jewelry of any kind is prohibited on the field.
