Welcome to HMHS Soccer!  The tradition continues!  You are joining one of the top High School Boys Soccer Programs in NJSIAA history.  Our program can lay claim to over 600 competitive wins all-time.  Dawgs Soccer is a perennial Colonial Conference Power with 25 Colonial Conference Championships overall.  Over the course of HMHS Boys Soccer history, our Varsity team has won SEVEN NJSIAA State Championships.  The Freshmen Soccer Team at HMHS competes against a largely Group 3 and 4 schedule annually.  Despite our strength of schedule, our Freshmen typically post a very strong record.  We strive to prepare our Freshmen with an appropriate schedule so that one day (soon) they will be ready to compete at the Varsity level.

    More important than any accolade our program has ever received is the fact that we play with Pride.  We represent ourselves, HMHS, and the Borough of Haddonfield with true class and dignity.  Our commitment to strive to be the best we can be on the playing field must be equally if not exceedingly demonstrated in the classroom.

    Playing at ANY LEVEL of our program is a tremendous commitment… in other words, along with the commitment to play also comes great responsibility.    Freshmen Soccer is very competitive and it must be understood that playing time is at a premium.  There are 11 spots on the field and only 70 minutes of game time.  Freshman playing time is earned through hard work, skill, and commitment to your teammates and the program above all else.

    Respect shown for your teammates, your coaches, your opponents and your school is paramount.  Wearing an HMHS jersey is an honor and a privilege and it should be treated as such.  The HMHS Boys Soccer Coaching Staff are not interested in individual players; we are interested only in a group of dedicated student athletes willing to sacrifice for the betterment of the team. 

Important reminders going into your experience as a Boys Soccer Program Member at HMHS:

• ATTEND NON-MANDATORY SUMMER TRAINING SESSIONS (Starting for incoming Freshmen in July), CAMPS, and FULL PRESEASON CAMP AS POSTED ON THE SUMMER SCHEDULE TAB - BOYS VARSITY SOCCER PAGE - HADDONFIELDATHLETICS.ORG
• Get your physical forms and documents in order and submitted EARLY IN THE SUMMER - MISSING FORMS AND/OR INFO WILL RESULT IN MISSING PRESEASON PRACTICE TIME! 
• ALL PLAYERS MUST COMPLETE SIX FULL PRESEASON (AUGUST) PRACTICES TO BE CONSIDERED ELIGIBLE FOR SCRIMMAGES / GAMES
• Attend ALL MEETINGS, PRACTICES, and GAMES!
• ALL FRESHMEN PLAYERS MUST HAVE PROGRAM CODE OF CONDUCT FORMS SIGNED AND SUBMITTED PRIOR TO THE START OF PRESEASON CAMP IN AUGUST
• Coaching staff will meet with all interested incoming Freshmen Boys Soccer players at our annual interest meeting at HMS (date TBD soon!)

The coaching staff have very high expectations for the incoming Freshmen Boys Soccer class in 2016. This is the start of not only your career as a Boys Soccer Program Member at HMHS, but also your high school career in general.  As such, the coaching staff are the first representatives of HMHS that you will come in contact with.  This is a responsibility we take very seriously!  WELCOME to HMHS.  We could not be more excited to have you join our program.
